It would be best if you kept up with the Mercedes-recommended service intervals to keep your vehicle in top running condition. Mercedes has two services: Service A and Service B.

What is Service A?

Your first service visit should be at 10,000 miles or one year, whichever comes first.

After that, Mercedes recommends doing Service A every 20,000 miles or two years, whichever comes first.

Service A includes:

  • Oil and filter change
  • Check fluid levels and top off as necessary.
  • Check tire pressure
  • Check the brakes
  • Reset the maintenance counter

At 20,000 miles or one year after Service A, Mercedes recommends completing Service B.

After the first Service B, you should have Service B every 20,000 miles or two years from the last Service B date, whichever comes first.

Service B includes:

  • Oil and filter change
  • Check fluid levels and top off as necessary
  • Check tire pressure and adjust
  • Replace the cabin air filter
  • Inspect the brakes
  • Flush and replace the brake fluid
  • Reset the maintenance counter
